Verdict

Shake On It is selected with Trans Siberian and Golden Prospect chosen as the most likely opposition. Eve Johnson Houghton's charge is a model of consistency and whilst this does him few favours with the handicapper, he ran an encouraging reappearance and can be anticipated to build upon it here. Trans Siberian did have problems with wasting energy by taking too keen a hold. A winter on the sidelines seems to have altered that and it was very much a case of "on best behaviour" at Windsor. Golden Prospect handles this ground and has shaped as if a step up from a mile should suit. Nutkin looked an unlucky loser last time. Jamie Spencer replaces Oscar Urbina and the odds can be expected to contract accordingly. He reopposes Kavachi. Safari Sundowner has been expertly placed on the all-weather but faces a tougher task. Red Somerset steps up in trip. Indicible is unproven on the going whilst Danski is one to note in the market at longer odds. Many plausible chances on the formbook and we are with Shake On It.
