In depth

Verdict

Leopard King is bound to be popular with backers after just two starts but Sir Michael Stoute's colt may not represent much in the way of value and does not look to be particularly well treated for his debut in this grade anyway so preference is for the in-form Cheap Street, who gets the vote ahead of El Bosque. The last mentioned resumed winning ways in good fashion at Windsor last time and would not be without a chance back in a nursery on that evidence. Sylvester Kirk's Sylvan has similar claims to the Stoute runner and may also be best watched first time in this grade, while Captain Marvelous may find it tough to give weight away all round. Part Timer is a consistent performer and should again be thereabouts but preference is for Cheap Street, who has done nothing wrong of late and is taken to defy his latest rise.
