In depth
Verdict
Snoqualmie Boy faces no easy task giving weight away to his older rivals over a trip short of his best so David Elsworth's colt may be best left out of calculations, while Azarole may want a more testing surface to show his best form and a chance is taken on the fitness of Emirates Skyline. The selection has not raced for over a year but lack of a recent run need not be of concern and, provided that ground does not become too testing, he looks to hold solid claims. Sir Michael Stoute's Mostashaar has become rather expensive to follow and may now be best watched, while St Andrews would probably want the heavens to open to give him a realistic chance. Godolphin's Blue Ksar ran better last time but Kerrin McEvoy prefers Emirates Skyline and that is good enough for us.
