Verdict
The victory of Protectress on her sole start in Listed company last term marked this full sister to Armiger as one to follow but the stable has not ben firing and she has had setbacks which have delayed her return. On the positive side, the form of her Newmarket win was given a boost when the runner-up Snowfire filled the same position in the 1,000 Guineas. Monturani has always been held in high regard and got up close home to get off the mark at Ascot last month. Geoff Wragg's filly will be even better over this longer trip and is respected while the John Dunlop pair of Atarama and Maid To Perfection both showed promise last term and look capable of picking up a race of this nature with the former narrowly preferred.
