In depth
Verdict
An interesting contest with a number of lightly raced and well-bred newcomers in opposition including Hero's Journey who showed the benefit of experience when a close runner-up in a similar heat at Newmarket's Guineas meeting. Richard Hannon's charge sets the standard here for debutants Copybook and Unscrupulous from the yards of Cecil and Fanshawe respectively. King's Thought showed promise on his sole start last year and should make his mark while the improving Hardrada looks best of the rest.
