Verdict

Quite a few badly handicapped runners here and this may lie between Brouhaha, Humble Opinion and KING'S SONG and it is the last-named who edges the vote. The selection was a game winner at Wolverhampton last time out and the three-year-old has a 4lb rise in the weights accordingly. However that looks lenient if we take into account the runner-up scoring since and also the potential that this nicely-bred individual has. If he handles the quicker ground then he must go close. Calaloo is consistent and seems to have taken well to the blinkers, as has Humble Opinion who looks very attractively handicapped now. Maxwil hasn't been with the yard for long and this former Gary Moore inmate is another who has dropped in the weights. Kidlat's recent runs have been hit and miss and he needs to get back some of the consistency that saw him win at Chepstow in May. Brouhaha ran well in defeat at Sandown last time out however he is yet to win in 18 turf starts and as a result is passed over for win purposes. Sir Boss, Wing Play and Princely Hero all look high enough in the weights, so a bigger threat may be The Which Doctor who is able to race in a 0-85 handicap for the first time in quite a while which should aid his chance. The progressive King's Song is fancied to win again.
