Verdict
Easter Parade did not have the race run to suit last time and may be worth another chance with the consistent Mersey Sound and the well treated Arabian Moon rated the main dangers. The selection, a winner at Chepstow and Salisbury earlier in the campaign was unsuited by the slow pace at Kempton recently. That run is best ignored and, in a race lacking quality in depth, he looks the safest option. Mersey Sound is 8lbs higher than when winning over course and distance last month but has twice been beaten since and may now be in the grip of the handicapper. Arabian Moon and Kaparolo have both slipped to attractive marks but are difficult to fancy on recent evidence, while Our Imperial Bay has shown little sign of encouragement of late. The unexposed Mac may be worth a look in the market but the safest bet looks to be Easter Parade, who gets the vote.
