        Verdict

        This looks like a good opportunity for Ticker Tape to get off the mark, with Wizard Looking and Mazuna also ones to watch in the betting. However, the Jamie Osborne-trained Ticker Tape, a 20,000gns purchase, ran a race full of promise on her debut at Haydock and a repeat dose can see her home in this company. The daughter of Royal Applause has plenty of stamina on her dam side and should get further in time. However, she showed enough dash on her racecourse bow to suggest that she can get the better of her rivals today. Wizard Looking and Mister Trickster, as others with experience, have to be respected but they may have to settle for a scrap for minor honours here.
