In depth

Verdict

Apart from Sir Jamie who is 3lb out of the weights, the tightness of this handicap is exemplified by a mere 7lb weight range. Lucky Louie has been close on both starts this season and there's no reason to suspect he won't be competitive, whilst Oisin Murphy takes over on Biotic who landed an amateur riders' contest at Sandown a fortnight ago and is up 6lb as a consequence. He's Our Star continues to win in his turn but has yet to do so off a mark in the 70s, whilst FORTUNE AND GLORY shares the same detail. The latter is now asked to compete off 72 but he scooted away to score impressively at Kempton recently and Scott McCullagh's claim will come in very handy.
