Verdict
A high draw on this type of going over this trip at Newbury seems preferable so, with this in mind, our shortlist consists of Paris Bell, Celtic Spa, Aberdeen Park, Little Wizzy, Azuree and Cree, with the vote going to Paris Bell. Looking at out shortlist. Celtic Spa is lightly raced but has shown a decent level of form, including on soft. Little Dalham's second three runs ago to Johnny Jumpup reads well given that that colt ran well in yesterday's Horris Hill Stakes, and he can be given a chance, and Aberdeen Park's second to Magical Romance at Leicester three runs ago has since been franked in Group company, although she is unproven on soft. Little Wizzy should strip fitter for her latest effort, her first since May and could be an improver, while Azuree has proven herself pretty tough and could go well under a light weight. Cree will also love the conditions and might get into the argument but Paris Bell showed a liking for the underfoot conditions when scoring at Ayr last time and, given that she is drawn well and clearly come here in good heart, she gets the vote.
