Verdict
A classy sprint in which several can be given chances, but the hopeful selection in an open contest is Fruit Of Glory, who has held her form well this year and will be better suited to this trip having just found the stiff five-furlongs at Newmarket last week an insufficient test. Orientor is the class act of the field and will certainly find this company more to his liking having face some stiff tasks this year. However, while he goes on fast ground, he is much better suited to some give underfoot. Royal Millennium has several top-class efforts to his name, but with just two wins from 34 attempts, he clearly needs things to fall just right for him. Hidden Dragon is capable of a bold show, but there is a suspicion the Handicapper may just have hold of him, while Royal Storm, who made all at Newmarket, may be a seven-furlong specialist. No Time is another who could do with dropping a few lbs, so Fruit Of Glory, who was only just denied off this mark, over a trip short of her best, is the choice in an open race.
