In depth

Verdict

It's very tough so there plenty to consider. Among them are good recent winner Stretton, the unlucky-last-time, Spanish Don, African Sahara (who ran in the same race, as did Pango, who is another for the list), Alrafid, Liberty Royal (who could be very decent if he gets his act fully together), the first-me blinkered Compton Emperor, Amanda Perrett's Nottingham maiden winner Rejuvenate, and the consistent Gems Bond. Plenty to choose but, if he has been rejuvenated by Peter Makin we'll take a stab in the dark with Liberty Royal.
