Verdict

Corach Rambler beat GERICAULT ROQUE when landing the Ultima at Cheltenham in March with recent Ascot winner Our Power and Lostintranslation unplaced. He’s had a run at Carlisle to blow away the cobwebs but the runner-up was racing from out of the handicap at The Festival and is 6lb better off here with Tom Scudamore preferring him to Remastered, an easy winner over hurdles at Aintree last month under David Noonan. As well as Lostintranslation, Joe Tizzard also runs last season’s Grand National fifth Fiddlerontheroof and Le Milos is another to consider having bolted up at Bangor. Threeunderthrufive is likely to be suited by this step up in trip and was ahead of Oscar Elite over hurdles at Wetherby while Joseph O’Brien sends over the Kerry National winner Busselton with a chance.
