Verdict
Cap Du Nord beat stablemate Kitty's Light in a Grade 3 at Kempton back in February and shaped nicely in the Badger Beer at Wincanton earlier this month. He should confirm the form with Ellis Collier taking off a handy 7lb. Wetherby third Dublin Four won over 2m4f here last season and Zanza may also be coming to hand. It would be no surprise to see Mister Coffey reverse last season’s Kempton form with Jacamar, even though he hasn’t run since April, but KILLER KANE makes more appeal. In fine form in the spring, Joe Tizzard’s charge was in need of his reappearance at Exeter but still caught the eye so is preferred to last year’s winner Kapcorse, who is 6lb higher. Demachine was right back to his best at Uttoxeter in May so can’t be ignored.
