Verdict
Divine River gets the narrow vote in a competitive fillies' handicap with Elise and Babcary the main dangers. The selection made a winning racecourse debut over this course and distance when she beat Distinctive Look. She looks like one to stay on the right side of as she gave the impression that she would come on for the run and she should prove too strong for the rest here. Elise won well at Brighton when last seen out and she is a likeable filly, but she has been off the track since October and she might just need the run today. Babcary looks to be progressing nicely judged on her recent win at Goodwood when she beat Midnight Traveller. She loves fast ground so she has her ideal conditions here and she has to be respected. Balloura beat Magic Peak in a maiden at Warwick last time and she is stepped-up in trip today. She looks to have a solid each-way chance but Divine River remains unexposed and gets the vote.
