Verdict
Most of these are hard to win with so only a cautious vote is given to Compadre, who edges out Posh Stick, who needs to prove her well being after falling last time out, and Oliverjohn, who is capable but may be better over slightly further. Another to throw into the mix is Apadi, who has plenty of experience to draw from and is wily enough to weave a safe passage home today. He looks the more solid of the Richard Guest-trained runners and, if the dead-eight stand their ground, he looks the each-way bet of the race. However, Compadre just edges him out for win only purposes as he is far less exposed and is well suited by the demands of this galloping course.
