Verdict
VITO VOLTERRA is progressing well and went very close to following up his C&D victory when beaten by a narrow margin over a mile at Thirsk. Back over this shorter trip, he can confirm running with Feel The Heat and go in again. Music Festival scored at Doncaster before struggling in better company at the same track last time and he has strong claims, but Tombellini has disappointed twice since winning here last month. Placed in a bumper, Main Beach showed enough speed to win over 6f last time and he's another to consider.
