      Verdict

Brunch won over 7f here in November but is penalised for that success and SPLINTER can take advantage. Richard Fahey’s colt was beaten only a length at York on his debut despite finishing fourth and showing signs of inexperience and will know more today. Returnofthemac is another likely to improve with a debut at Wolverhampton in March under his belt while Tough Character finished in front of Ingleby Command when well beaten in fourth here back in February. I Can't Remember and Tyche are newcomers to note.
