        Verdict

        Spirit Of The Vale's recent course and distance victory was in a Class 7 handicap and she couldn't handle a penalty when sent to Kempton. Moayadd was making his handicap debut at Chelmsford last month when a close third over 7f, though that was in a very low-grade handicap. MOUNT CHEIRON followed a decent effort at Wolverhampton with a poor run when fancied here but is now 3lb lower than his last victory and that may be enough to take this lowly handicap. The veteran Hydrant, nine times a winner on Turf, is 1-24 on the all-weather while Kerry Icon is still a maiden after 17 starts, though can't go any lower than a rating of 41.
