Verdict

Lozah is the only course winner in the line-up though that was over a mile and she hasn't proved herself over this trip. Taurian won over hurdles in November and her best Flat form has been over further but Heartstone should give a good account again. David Evans' filly hasn't been beaten far when stepped up to 1m4f in her last two starts but has run well over this trip and looks well enough treated. Ms Gillard could be a threat as she was having her first start since August when narrowly beaten into third here last month and is one of the few here with scope. Paul Hanagan travels here for one booked ride, ENERGIA FOX (NAP), who didn't have much chance in a Class 3 handicap last time and will be having her first start in this grade. She's never won on an artificial surface but the drop in class can see her in the winner's enclosure. Victoria Pollard has been disappointing but takes a drop in class and could do better this campaign.
