Verdict
LAS VERGLAS STAR ran out an easy winner on his reappearance at Musselburgh a week ago and a 6lb penalty may not be enough to prevent Richard Fahey's charge from following up here. He's preferred to Dads Amigo, who finished a respectable fourth in a decent nursery at Doncaster in October and should figure on his return, while there should be more to come from last year's Carlisle winner Brave Dream. Silver Turn won at Southwell in January and has scope for further improvement and there doesn't look much between the Michael Dods' duo Maverik and Sergeant Suzie.
