      Verdict

GYPSY MAJOR has yet to win a handicap but was not far away when third over track and trip last week with both Tom Sawyer and Spirit of Zebedee behind. An apprentice’s 5lb allowance could make the difference in this and he gets the nod. Spirit of Zebedee had earlier landed a double on Turf while Oscars Journey won at Southwell back in April and ran well at Windsor on his latest start. Cuppatee has been placed the last twice and may prove best of the remainder.
