In depth

Verdict

Annie Salts is penalised for winning a lower grade sprint at Yarmouth last week and Searanger found a 5lb rise beyond him at Musselburgh having scored at Redcar before that. But FRUIT SALAD has gone close in Class 4 contests the last twice now and racing off the same mark as when runner-up at Doncaster last month, James Bethell’s filly may prove good enough. Run Rio Run was competing off a 14lb higher mark at this time last year but has yet to show any benefit for his slide down the handicap.
