Verdict

Avidity has been hard to train but is well up to winning in this grade if fully wound-up. Rowdy Rocher has been chasing but Special Wells will probably make a bold bid to defy a 6lb higher mark after showing much-improved form to win at Wetherby and Bennylicious could be interesting making his handicap debut. Downtown Boy will strip fitter for a recent run, as well Harvey's Hope, but the latter has ground to make up on recent course and distance second PISTOL who gets one more chance to come good given he was held in quite high regard when with Philip Hobbs.
