Verdict

Time Marches On and Named at Dinner could fight this one out at the finish and the vote is given to Named at Dinner. The selection was a little disappointing last time at Sedgefield when fourth behind Top Style. He had been well-supported in the market that day and we are prepared to forgive him that run as it did come after a short break off the track. This is a slight drop in class and we think he can get his head in front. Time Marches On has winning form in this grade and is capable of going close here. However, he is dropped in trip here and we think he is slightly better over further and on that basis we are happy to take him on. Flemming won well last time out but he is pretty exposed and he is another that will be done no favours by the drop in trip. Star Trooper could be the best of the remainder, but for the winner we return to Named at Dinner.
