Verdict
Venturous returned to form with an easy win in heavy going at Doncaster with Orvar back in fourth. He’s 8lb higher today while Birkenhead beat previous dual winner Exalted Angel when scoring on the Fibresand at Southwell. Get Boosting won in a lower grade at Wolverhampton and John Kirkup also steps up in class but top weight WATCHABLE landed last year’s renewal. He’s won four times subsequently and now back on a winning mark, David O’Meara’s charge looks sure to be bang there at the finish.
