Verdict
With both Boston Lass and Galen out of the weights proper this may not be all that competitive and the vote goes to Next To Nothing, who is preferred to Tribal Run and The River Joker. The last mentioned has wisely been given a break since finding just Dalus Park too good under testing conditions at Towcester and cannot be dismissed lightly. Tribal Run has had a light campaign and comes here fresher than most but he has paid the penalty for some consistent efforts last term. Very few of the others can be given much of a chance as the likes of Charming Admiral, Weaver George and Solway Breeze all looks fully exposed so the vote goes to Next To Nothing. The Nicky Richards-trained gelding made a winning start to his chase career when landing a novices' event at Carlisle last month and he looks well treated off a mark of 100 for his debut in this grade.
