    Verdict

Tancred Times, Musical Fair, Karminskey Park and Obe Bold look the four to concentrate on in the finale and the vote is given to Karminskey Park. The 5-year-old ran better than the bare form suggested when sixth behind Artie at Beverley on heavy ground last time. She looked like she might be winning soon on the evidence of that run and she is given the nomination on a track that suits and from a favourable draw. Tancred Times can never be ruled out in these type of events and she confirmed her well-being with a close fourth behind Friar Tuck at Hamilton last time. Musical Fair would have a good chance here on the pick of her form but she has been well below that level of late and she is passed over on this occasion. Obe Bold is dropped in trip after finishing third to Generous Gesture on the AW at Southwell last time, and she could be capable of running on into a place. This is an open affair to round off the card and many would have chances on their best form, but we will side with Karminskey Park as the one they all have to beat.
