In depth

Verdict

Eastern Tribute finally got his act together last time and is worth supporting again here, with All Sonsilver and Direct Access expected to give him most to do. Eastern Tribute has not had things go right for him over the past few months since going chasing, but there were signs at Sedgefield on his first run of the year that there was more to come, and come it did when he opened his account here in testing ground a month ago. The opposition was not up to much, and he was entitled to score, having earlier found only the useful Grattan Lodge too good, but he remains well treated compared to his hurdles form and will not mind the step up in trip. All Sonsilver is a course and distance winner and is a potentially decent stayer in the making, but this will be his first venture into class C company. As for Direct Access, he seems to have gone downhill for some reason but would make them all go on his best form. He remains one to have reservations about at present though, and with Man Murphy saddled with topweight, Eastern Tribute appeals most of all.
