Verdict
Hidden Bounty is out to get the losses back after his recent fall at Haydock, and can score at the expense of Tango Royal, Kivotos, Great As Gold and One Day. Although it is impossible to say whether Hidden Bounty would have completed a hat-trick had he stayed upright at Haydock last Saturday, there is no doubting the fact that he was going like a winner at the time of his departure at the fourth last. Mary Reveley's charge was racing from 25lb out of the handicap due to Iris's Gift lining up off topweight, but can race off his correct mark here and is the one to beat. Martin Pipe is still not firing on all cylinders despite the odd winner or two, and Tango Royal returns to the smaller obstacles after struggling over fences of late. The switch should help him go close, while Kivotos has been a model of consistency and cannot be ruled out of a place. One Day is very lightly raced and the form of his Haydock debut win over Pass Me By has been franked. He failed to see out three miles at Ayr, so over this shorter trip and off what looks a fair mark, he is a very interesting contender. However, if he stays upright, Hidden Bounty is still the one to beat.
