Verdict
In a very open betting heat, Favour, Williams Well and Its Ecco Boy are the three to concentrate on, with the former just getting the nod. Linda Ramsden has booked Jamie Spencer again for her tough three-year-old, after the combination just got touched off by Star Of Arabia at Leicester last week. There's a good chance they can go one better this afternoon. However there are dangers everywhere, It's Ecco Boy has proved himself better than selling class with a close up third behind Full Spate at Windsor last time, Yomalo comes into the picture on that form as well, and Higland Warrior can't be discounted after a game victory over today's rival Williams Well. And it is the last named who is cited as the main threat. Although getting long in the tooth, he still loves his racing, and with a nice pull in the weights can reverse the Ayr form with Jim Goldie's runner. So a difficult decision but Favour just edges out the others.
