In depth
Verdict
A moderate contest that shoudn't take too much winning, and Kelseas Kolby can land this at the expense of Peartree House and Jamestown. Jeremy Glover's gelding has hit form over the last month after a quiet summer and following an excellent victory at Leicester, made Helderberg pull out all the stops, in what looked to be a much better race than this at Redcar last week. Peartree House on the other hand seemed to go off the boil in August, but could possibly have needed the break, and if running up to his best should take a hand in the finish. Jamestown caused quite a shock when landing a tough race at Pontefract in May and he hasn't been disgraced in better company since, he is sure to be in the shake up. Tedsdale Mac and Gold crest are others worthy of a mention in what is a trappy race, but a tentative vote is given to Kelseas Kolby.
