Verdict
Based on his all-weather form LESLEY'S CHOICE looks well treated and with that one in good heart the gelding gets the verdict while Foxy Music is on a progressive run of results this term so should show up again and on these terms should get the better of Hazelrigg. A winner at Southwell off a mark in the low eighties the selection comes into this race about 10lbs better off. He won a seller on his last starts and although things will be tougher back in handicap company he should go well with conditions to suit. The pick is weighted to overturn some form on the re-opposing Haajes based on their last meeting so a bigger threat looks to be Foxy Music, who won on his first run back before stepping up on that to only just be held last time. He's up in the handicap despite that defeat but whilst in this mood he can go well. Marvellous Value badly needed his first run in 659 days on his last outing and now fitter looks off a light mark so might live up to his name but Lesley's Choice has just that little bit more in his favour.
