Verdict

Hitches Dubai won comfortably enough last time out to suggest he could follow up under a revised mark but conditions might just be turning against him so a better choice might be URSUS, who on his old form is looking well treated, and First Swallow should run well at a price. The pick just held on to get the better of Albero Di Giuda at Catterick last time and can be considered well treated under a penalty having previously won at this track off a mark of 60 so if he has turned the corner he can follow up despite a drop in trip. Hitches Dubai scored a comfortable success in a race that is starting to work out and although a 6lbs mark rise shouldn't stop him he is untested on soft ground. Likewise Miss Daawe held on well for her last score but has it to prove in these conditions while Cross Of Lorraine won a seller on that one's latest, will like these conditions but will need to improve. Red China Blues took advantage of a low looking rating to get up on his last run but he too might be done in by the ground so Ursus has a good opportunity to follow up
