Verdict

Following a good second to In A Silent Way in a fillies' handicap last time on her first attempt at 1m2f, Tawny Way gets the vote to go one better in this classified stakes race with Vicious Warrior and Cripsey Brook rated the main dangers. The last mentioned has been in a rich vein of form recently having won four out of five this term but this is tougher and may be beyond him. Richard Whittaker's Vicious Warrior has claims but may struggle to concede weight all round and a bigger danger, in a competitive event, may be the consistent Beau Artiste, who does not know how to run a bad race. Cill Droichead and Medallist are others to consider but we are happy to side with Tawny Way, who is open to improvement, particularly over this trip.
