In depth

Verdict

Glan Y Gors has now won three of his last four outings here though finished behind runner-up LOUD AND CLEAR on the occasion he was beaten. The latter missed out by only a neck over course and distance at the start of the month and meets Glan Y Gors again on better terms. Cry Wolf was beaten less than a length when third at Lingfield while Nietzsche found only one too good when second at Newmarket in October and has scored over hurdles since. A winner on the Flat in Ireland, Tommy Hallinan debuts for a new trainer on his reappearance while Archive has plenty to find with the selection.
