Verdict
A good competitive finale to the card at Headquarters and South Atlantic can round off the day for followers of the Fallon factor. However, it is far from plain sailing for him and he will be pushed all the way to the line if Master Robbie, Vindication and Pomfret Lad arrive here ready to do themselves justice - although St Pancras is better than recent form figures would suggest and he may be capable of rewarding each way thieves with a fair return. That said, South Atlantic is only 5lb higher than for his victory on the July course earlier in the season and arrives here after being freshened up by a short break. Sir Michael Stoute has never been noted for his runners turning up in need of the run so South Atlantic can confidently be expected to make a bold bid for glory under the champion jockey's guidance again here.
