Verdict
A bumper eight-race card begins with with division one of a juvenile maiden that may go to newcomer Typhonic who does not have a great deal to beat, Sweetest Revenge being possibly best of the rest. Typhonic hails from the powerful stable of Roger Charlton and is sure to have learnt his job well. Although not holding any fancy entries, the son of Efisio can make an immediate impression under Steve Drowne. The market should tell us what is expected of Limit Down given the shrewd handling of rookie trainer Mark Wallace, but a bigger threat may be Sweetest Revenge, who was too highly tried in the Group 2 Fling Childers at Doncaster last time, but who will be prominent at this level. He likes to be up with the pace, and is likely to reach the frame without having the scope of Typhonic who can make a winning debut.
