Verdict
Another big field, this time made up of claimers, is hard to evaluate, but in a wide open contest, Cheverak Forest has a chance and is the pick ahead of Lady Piste, Joint Destiny and Lotto. The latter is lightly-weighted and managed to land a weak maiden at Brighton in the summer. She has a squeak, but Cheverak Forest make makes just as much appeal. Mick Channon's charge has won in selling and claiming company in his first season, handling any type of ground it would seem. He patently failed to see out the trip at Beverley and it is a wise move to drop him back in distance. That should ensure that he is in with a shout and a small investment may pay off. Joint Destiny looks overburdened for what he has achieved so far, while Mouseman at least has a recent victory to his credit, but is no good thing to follow up. Cheverak Forest can reach the frame at least.
