    In depth

    Verdict

There was no pace in the race won by Qaysar here last August when NAHAARR was only third having started a well-backed favourite. On 10lb better terms, it’s not hard to imagine William Haggas’ runner turning the tables on the winner and he is taken to make a winning reappearance. Alemaratalyoum has won seven times but his best form last season was over a mile. Sir Maximilian isn’t getting any younger and his stamina will be tested over this stiff 7f but there are possibilities about Blown By Wind, who is running over his best trip and had a pipe-opener at Wolverhampton in March when the least fancied of his stable’s three runners.
