In depth

Verdict

Lazuli took in the Cornwallis here in October after winning his first two starts but he never threatened and finished behind Jouska, though is slightly better off at the weights with the filly. Endowed arrives on a hat-trick having won his final two starts in 2019 and Will To Win has been in cracking form on the all-weather this year. Smokey Bear was progressive last season and is open to further improvement as is Newcastle maiden winner King Ragnar. After winning his first two starts, HURAIZ wasn’t disgraced in trying to pick up some black type in the autumn. He’s been gelded and can make a successful transition to handicaps with his stable already firing on all cylinders.
