Verdict

Defeat at Royal Ascot has been no barrier to success in this race but Sander Camillo and Jewel In The Sand have both followed up here after winning the Albany Stakes and MEMORY has sound claims of following suit. Soraaya and Tanfeer won their maidens impressively but the recent trend has been for runners to have had more experience so the chief threats may come from the vanquished pair from the Albany. Hooray and Radharcnafarraige have 5 lengths and 3 lengths to find with the selection and no obvious excuses although the former may have finished a shade closer but for meeting with some interference although this is another day and another track. Serena's Pride lacked the pace of the principals in the Queen Mary over five but should enjoy being stepped back up in trip and has to be feared but Lily Again looks to need to improve on the form of her second at Chantilly. Soraaya and Tanfeer are clearly both held in high regard but they have it all to prove against Memory who has her quirks but they are easily forgiven given her talent.
