Verdict
Soviet is selected but it would be no surprise to see Krugerrand run a big race and Daring Dream could be of interest at a price. Mark Johnston was in splendid form in July and Soviet went close to providing him with another winner when narrowly beaten over this trip at Leicester. The first two pulled clear of the field, he races from the same mark and may have more to offer. Krugerrand hasn't won for a while but retains the ability to do so from his current mark. Ryan Moore is an interesting booking, rain won't bother him but he does have an absence to overcome. Hannicean, Silent Applause, Sonny Parkin and Del Mar Sunset have ability but are frustrating whilst Vilna was due to run on Wednesday night and has his effectiveness to prove on grass. Therefore, it may be worth trawling for something at a price and Daring Dream could be of interest now that he steps up in trip. There's stamina on the dam's side and the way he stayed on at Yarmouth last time suggests that he'll see out the trip well enough so we'll keep an eye on him but prefer the claims of Soviet.
