Verdict
The market will provide plenty of clues to a race in which all but two are making their racecourse debuts. Psychiatrist, who was narrowly denied a winning start to his career at Goodwood late last month, looks best of the pair with previous experience and sets a fair standard for well-bred newcomers such as Convince, Fokine and So Will I. Sir Michael Stoute continues in tremendous form and Convince, a Mt Livermore half-brother to several smart middle distance winners, could easily prove good enough to oblige at the first time of asking. Fokine, related to a high-class winning juvenile, may prove the pick of the Barry Hills trio while the Marcus Tregoning-trained So Will I also makes appeal on breeding, being from the family of some smart middle distance types.
