Amnesty should have sufficient improvement to foil the follow-up efforts of both Fearby Cross and Persian Pearl. Henry Candy's gelding had a disastrous three-year-old campaign but the master of Kingston Warren has persevered with him and judged on his three outings so far, a win is iminent. The son of Salse so nearly opened his account at Windsor when touched off over a mile by Unicorn Reward who has since franked the form at Leicester. In addition, the drop back to seven furlongs looks a wise move and off his current mark Amnesty should be followed, especially with Charlotte Cox taking five pounds off his back. Fearby Cross has the assistance of the very able Lisa Jones and struck winning form at Newmarket thanks to the South African pocket rocket who showed great strength to stop him hanging near the finish. That was his first win in three years though so he is not guaranteed to repeat the feat. Persian Pearl landed a touch for connections when scoring at Warwick last time but has a bit more to do here. The filly should go well though, without being good enough to contain Amnesty who can prove that stall 13 is not unlucky.
