In depth

Verdict

The feature race on the card can go to Easter Parade who can complete a hat-trick at the expense of Ocean Avenue and Camzo, with Javelin likely to make a bold bid for the frame as well. Easter Parade has been in sparkling form of late, gaining back-to-back successes at Chepstow and Salisbury. The key to her victories has been the step up in trip this season for the daughter of Entrepeneur who has Teenoso's influence on the dam's side. She is not badly handicapped and in her current mood will take some stopping, with the Tote Cesarewitch mooted as a likely end of season target. Ocean Avenue was in good form at the end of last season and looks to be coming to hand after two outings at Sandown, the most recent of which has been franked by the winner Sindapour who went on to score at Royal Ascot. The suspicion is though that he will be there to be picked off with his front-running tactics. Camzo has the assistance of Kieren Fallon and is five pounds better off with Easter Parade on their Salisbury running but does not have the same scope for improvement, while Javelin, a fair dual-purpose performer will appreciate the step up in distance. Easter Parade can give the Queen a popular winner.
