Verdict

Flashcard is the only one not to arrive in high form but both efforts this term have been sound and he's not discarded. The choice is VICTORY COMMAND who came good the last day and looks like developing into one of Mark Johnston's tough as teak handicappers, having done really well to outpoint a field of predominantly older horses at Hamilton. Honest Albert, clearly far less exposed, is unbeaten and looks an interesting prospect for the Gosden team. He's a key player here and holds Bayroot on their recent running. Motakhayyel may just need to improve a little and it will interesting to see if the hat-trick seeking Akwaan can handle this substantial rise in class.
