Verdict
Goodwood winner Rum Cocktail returned a losing favourite when only third off today’s mark at Doncaster while Desert Team was also a beaten favourite last time having scored at Catterick earlier. But SPRING IS SPRUNG will be sharper for an outing at Ascot last month and he gets the vote back over this longer trip with an apprentice’s allowance helping his cause.
