In depth

Verdict

Amazing Red was winning over 1m6f here off a 10lb higher mark at this time last year and placed over the same distance back here last time. But the progressive GUILIN gave the impression this extra distance would suit when returning an impressive four-length winner over 1m2f at Salisbury and Sean Woods’ colt may well defy a hike in the weights. Pons Aelius found one too good again at Hamilton last time while Lexington Knight slips further down the handicap.
