        Verdict

        On The Warpath beat Mubtasim in a tough handicap at Meydan in February though his stable companion re-opposes on better terms today and William Buick has switched allegiance. But the Godolphin charge found CENOTAPH too good when latter won a valuable handicap under Ryan Moore over today’s trip at Chelmsford in September and Jeremy Noseda’s representative may just edge this having raced over 6f subsequently. Gilgamesh is another with something to find with the selection on Chelmsford running while the remainder all return to action with Betty F’s third at York in September looking stronger form than Rufus King and Game Player have so far managed.
